Post image for A Contemporary Origami Handbag

I added handles to a triangular box created by Hans-Werner Guth and made myself a contemporary fashionable handbag.
It is made from an A size rectangle. Clever and a pleasure to fold!

Now it’s time to take a walk around town and show it off. Cool!

Diagrams for the triangular box HERE.

Crease pattern HERE.

From a square you make the bag and the handles perfectly, no leftovers!

Here are the proportions for the handbag and handles.

I played with some colors too. Which handbag  would you choose today?

Ese papel de diseños geométricos le da un toque muy moderno a la cartera. Esa es una de mis favoritas!

La proporción es A, pero saqué el rectangulo de un cuadradito de 6×6 inches o 15×15 cm.
Aquí está la proporción

Hi! I’m wondering if you could make a video for the purse. I simply can’t figure out how to fold it!

Following the release of my tiny unimposing triangular box, it is stunning to see all the response and advanced development!

Hi Hans,
You never know how an origami creation will take off! This box is simple, elegant and versatile. It can be folded from different rectangles and it’s easy to fold. No wonder so many people like it!!
