Gerardo Gacharná (Colombia) is hosting a series of free origami presentations and workshops with different origami teachers and artists. This series is entitled “Foldeas”.
The next workshop hosted by Gerardo will feature Trevas Chuang (Taiwan), also known as Decadent Origamist. Trevas is known for promoting different causes through origami.
Participants will have fun and learn:
- How origami is involved in this guest speaker’s life and vision
- How origami has helped him share concepts with others
- How origami has helped him during his travels
This event will take place on Saturday, June 20, 9:00 – 11:00 am (New York) / 2:00 – 4:00 (London).

Saturday’s origami event ‘Foldeas’ was fantastic! I am a fairly new folder & his explanation & repetition was what I needed.
He says he has been folding just a few months himself….well, he’s got this!
Enthusiastic, patient, eager to share & sensitive to our human-ness…he will be great at whatever he teaches because he shows he cares & identifies with the student.
