It takes just ten steps -and less than ten minutes, to make this iPhone stand. No printer needed, no scissors, no glue, no mess! All you need is a letter-size piece of paper.
How cool is that?
This Smartphone stand is a creation of origami master Francis Ow. He has generously given me permission to make this teaching video of his model.
If you enjoy it, please share the video with your friends!
Thank you, Francis Ow, for this model. And thank you, Leila, for the video instructions. This makes a good stand to carry around. It also holds whichever pair of glasses I’m not wearing when I switch between my regular and reading ones at my desk.
Glasses stand! What a great idea for using this origami model! Thank you for sharing it here, Denise.
Thank you soo much for making this video! I tend to watch lot of videos and I realized that I needed a stand to keep my phone in place. I tried to make many stands but I was unsuccessful. When I came across this video, I thought it would work out so I made it and it actually did a fantastic job! Thank you soo much!

Hello Leyla,
We had folded your pre-Columbian Frog today over at MIT. It was a cool model to fold, I will be on the lookout for your over models!
Thanks,
