Julie Juniper discovered origami through a simple “fold-a-day” calendar and quickly developed a passion for the art form. Based in Seattle with her husband and cats, Julie appreciates origami’s unique intersection of mathematics and artistry, viewing each fold as both a puzzle and an artistic expression.
When not creating paper masterpieces, she enjoys gardening, painting, and gaming. Her dedication to teaching reflects her desire to share the joy and meditative qualities of origami with others, hoping to inspire the same appreciation she’s found in this art form.
Julie Juniper’s origami collection showcases remarkable diversity and technical skill. Her designs feature a menagerie of animals such as a rooster, an alligator, a vulture, a rhinoceros, a camel, a peacock, a skunk, and a rabbit. Each piece demonstrates her mastery of transforming simple paper into expressive forms with a distinctive personality.
